Weather around the World

Hello boys and girls!

Today, you are going to be researching weather from around the world for your presentation for our class.  As you are looking at these websites, be sure to take good notes on your forecasting exploration sheet.

1. Go to National Geographic Map and search for your city and state or country.  Press the (minus) to see where it is in the world. Watch the red pin as it gets smaller. Record what continent your city is in.

2. Look at Instrument Data and Weather Instruments, then write down the answers for three questions and draw the two pictures.

3. Go to www.weather.com and search for the name of your city to see the weather.

Extra time = Read more about weather forecasting here.  http://staff.fcps.net/kschneid/Weather/forecasting.htm

If you cannot remember what something means, try this "Weather Guide" before you ask me.
